Staff Bio - Jane Carlson

Jane

Born in Long Beach, California, Jane also lived in Florida and Pennsylvania as a child. She is a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in music theory and engineering physics. At WVWC, Jane met her husband Ken, a youth pastor for 13 years and now a middle school teacher. They have been married since 1990 and have one daughter, Natalie Anne.

Jane has helped play piano and lead worship since high school. She ministered with her husband at Kingswood United Methodist Church in Illinois for 2 years, Full Gospel Church in Greensburg, PA for 4 years and St. Thomas Assembly of God Church in St. Thomas, PA for 7 years. At St. Thomas Assembly she was on staff as church secretary for a short time and then later as the church bookkeeper. Here at Christian Life, she serves as Financial Manager and Music Director. She has also written several songs including “The Lord is Good”, “One Together in This Place” and "Throne". Along with her duties at Christian Life, Jane also teaches Music Theory and Instrumental Music at Shalom Christian Academy in Chambersburg, PA.
