Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

What is MOPS? MOPS is a safe place for mothers struggling through the preschool years. MOPS is a place to connect with other mothers wrestling with the same issues of childhood that you are including, sleepless nights, toddler tantrums, potty training, disobedience, anger management, and raising children with great character, self esteem, self-control, and fortitude to name a few. MOPS is a place for mentoring where mothers with experience nurture and encourage newer mothers. MOPS is a place to develop strong, lasting friendships, so that you are not traveling this path alone. MOPS is a place where moms� needs are met in a realistic and life changing way.

More infomation about MOPS...

One of the the most important things we do in MOPS is nurture the children in a program called MOPPETS while we meet together as mothers. What a great way socialize our children together in a safe and warm atmosphere. Mom, rest assured knowing your children are safe and loved by an amazing volunteer staff. *** All volunteers have had criminal background checks*** The children sing biblical songs, learn rhymes, a memory verse and have a biblical lesson. We also have snack and bathroom breaks. We currently have 4 classrooms - birth to 12 mo., 13-24 mo. 2-3yr olds, and 4,5,6 year olds. We have a minimum of two adults in each classroom. Classes are limited to 12 children each.

What mom can look forward to: Prayer, refreshments, small group discussions, guest speakers on topics dealing with relationships, taking care of mom's physical, emotional and spiritual needs, and raising healthy children. We will on occasion complete craft projects as well.

Extra events include MOPS/POPS Christmas party, Valentine Banquet, Monthly group playdates and summer playdates.
